The Municipality of Changping operates an excellent public transportation system called Regular service is available everyday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with limited schedules on weekends. Discount fares are available for students. There is a bus stop at the campus entrance.

"Is personal safety a concern at the University?"

The university has an excellent safety record and employs 24-hour security. Our campus is tucked away from Beijing on nearly 200m wooded and is in close proximity to the district 's Hospital.

"Are there people on campus to consult about sensitive and confidential topics?"

Absolutely. Students may speak to graduate students, counselors in the university's Counseling Center, resident advisors, the Dean of Students, or the University director about personal matters. Of course, students are always welcome to speak with other members of the university community as well.

"Where do I take my financial aid questions?"

All pertinent financial aid information is covered in our financial aid guide, available through the Office of Financial Aid. In addition, full-time financial aid officers are available to answer questions. 100 percent of students demonstrating financial need receive some type of aid at The University.

"I assume career planning is available to students?"

Of course. Like Career Planning Offices at most universities, ours acts as the clearinghouse for job and internship postings, career counseling, resumé writing, and the like. What distinguishes our office from others is the personal attention each student receives. Students are not rushed through 15 minute appointments, or placed immediately on career exploration software programs. Rather, they are given as much counseling time as they require to fulfill their goals.

Further, the university promotes the dignity of work and living through love and respect for others. In this context, any labor performed in the service of caring for God's world and advancing the well-being of the human family is considered a sacred calling. The educational community which we seek to create should contribute to all aspects of growth - intellectual, social, emotional and physical - resulting in a whole person who is educated for the whole world and for all of life. This environment exists to enable all individuals to become the most that they can and were meant to be. The community spirit exists not only in classrooms and residence halls, but in offices and boardrooms as well.
