In practice, the Career Services Office assists students in clarifying values, to identify skills and interests, and to locate job information. A resource library is available with career information relating to each academic department At Beijing Foreign Affairs University Of Economics. Workshops are offered throughout the year in job search and preparation skills including resumé writing. The Career Services Office encourages one-on-one consultations and coordinates practice and internships, community projects, and employment. Bulletin boards in China post and update part-time and full-time job announcements.

　Student's office provides encouragement, support services, and resource identification for multicultural students at Beijing Foreign Affairs University of Economics. By working with the students on an individual basis, the SO seeks to address the needs and concerns of all students and to help them adjust to college life. SO provides personal assistance in areas such as housing, health care, transportation, job information, banking, and child care, academic counseling, scholarship and grant information, and academic tutoring.
SO is devoted to promoting cultural awareness, sensitivity, and understanding among students, faculty, and staff. Through extra-curricular activities and formal gatherings, the office strives to emphasize and enhance the diversity of the BFAUOE. The students enjoy social activities such as movies, ice-skating, bowling, skiing, and pizza parties. The community participates and shares in ethnic and cultural events such as multicultural socials, potlucks, and cultural awareness workshops.

　The Counseling Center is dedicated to serving and supporting BFAUOE's students, faculty, staff, and their families. We endeavor to provide compassionate, professional counseling with recognition and respect for the dignity of people of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.

　The activities of our students extend far beyond the physical arena. Through student government, clubs, and organizations, BFAUOE students have input into every aspect of the University's operations, from oversight of the campus recycling effort to representation on key faculty and administrative committees.
